Day 1
Mumbai – Colombo

Assemble at Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport to board the flight Sri Lankan Airwaysfor Colombo. Overnight journey by flight.

Day 2
Colombo – Pinnawala Elephant Orphange – Kandy

Meet and assist on arrival at Airport by Skyline Tours Representative. Transfer from Airport to Pinnawala. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage provides visitors with the best chance of seeing a large number of elephants at close quarters. The orphanage was established in 1975 and commenced with seven orphaned elephants. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location. Assisted by local and foreign elephant experts, Pinnawala commenced a successful captive breeding program and the first baby elephant was born in 1984. It is most interesting to visit at feeding time to see the baby elephants being bottle fed and the entire herd taken for a bath thereafter to the river nearby. Transfer from Pinnawala to Kandy. Day 3
Kandy – Peradeniya – Kandy

Transfer from Kandy to Peradeniya. This beautiful garden is located 4 miles off Kandy. It was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It covers approximately 147 acres and is a walker’s paradise with extensive well kept lawns, pavilions, an octagon conservatory, fernery, a giant Javan fig tree and numerous flower beds. The best attraction is the orchid house. Transfer from Peradeniya to Kandy.
Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name ‘Kandy’ conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town, the bazaar, arts & crafts centre and a gem museum / lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show. Day 4
Kandy – Tea Plantation – Nuwara Eliya

Transfer from Kandy to Tea Plantation. Visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best Tea in the world is produced. Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Transfer from Tea Plantation to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country producing a significant share of the world’s best tea. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 holes golf courses in South Asia. Stay overnight at Nuwara Eliya. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 5
Nuwara Eliya – Leisure

Today after breakfast day is at leisure. Time is free for shopping and personal activities. Stay overnight at Nuwara Eliya. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 6
Nuwara Eliya – Galle City Tour – Ahungalla

After Breakfast leave to Galle En-route visit the Turtle Farm in Kosgoda.
Where you can see several species of turtles, specially the hawksbill, are endangered. Most vulnerable of all are their eggs, which are left uncovered on beaches all around the coast. The good will of Kosgoda area fishermen, who brings these eggs gratis to the hatchery, has led to the hatching and release of 100,000 young turtles in only two years since the hatchery opened. An endowment by the Hassel lad Estate was responsible for the establishment of this hatchery.
And do glass bottom boats trip in Hikkaduwa. And then precede to Galle do a city tour of Galle. This is the most ancient and important harbor of the country, until the Colombo was established. Galle is identified as the ‘tars his ‘of the bible. This was captured by the Portuguese in 1587 a.d, Dutch in 1640 a.d, and British in 1796 ad most of the existing buildings date to Dutch period. The bastions’ are still using Dutch names such as zwart, akesloot, aloes etc. Famous for lace making, ebony carving, gem cutting & polishing. Enjoy delicious dinner at Heritance Ahungalla Resort. Ahungalla – Colombo – City Tour

After having breakfast at the hotel, transfer from Ahungalla to Colombo. Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar – where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas – where you find stately homes of the affluent and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) – an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People’s Republic of China. Day 9
Colombo – Male

After having early breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and proceed to Colombo Airport to board the flight for Male. Arrive Male and complete Immigration procedure. Meet and greet at the Airport.
Welcome to Maldives!!! Once you arrive at Male International Airport where you are met by the hotel representative and transferred to your Maldivian Resort. Day At Leisure
